Crafts | Henna candle


I'll be honest - I hadn't realised painting henna onto candles would be so difficult. The curved shape and slippery surface means that it requires much more patience than decorating other objects.



But I have to say, when you finally get it right, the end result is really worth it!

    quick question as i am making candle party favours for my brothers mehndi...i just want to confirm which type of henna should be used for the candles- henna gel and glitter gel? i always wondered how to stop them from chipping or peeling!!any other hints and tips u can give me please?!

    1. Hi Nad! Thanks for your kind comment. Sorry for the late response, I've been extremely busy - hope I'm not too late in replying! You need to seal the henna with modge podge or similar, but the gel henna bleeds if you add glitter gel or if you try to seal it. So it's best if you use normal henna. Hope that helps x
